2. Yersin Museum
Yersin Museum is located on the campus of the Pasteur Institute (Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City). This place is preserving many precious artifacts and images of Swiss-French doctor Alexandre Yersin - the person who discovered the plague bacillus and is a benefactor of the people of Khanh Hoa.
The museum displays everything from the letters he sent to his mother to the microscope that detected plague germs, the bed where he took his last breath... Along the walkway are black and white images of Khanh's land and people. Full of nostalgia.
3. Cross Pham Van Dong pass, catch the wind at Heo cave
Pham Van Dong Pass (Luong Son Pass) is one of the most beautiful passes in Nha Trang. Visitors only need to travel about 15 minutes along Pham Van Dong Street to the North to reach the pass area.
Coming to the end of Pham Van Dong pass, visitors go about 200 meters inside and will encounter a rocky beach that curves along the coast, nearly a kilometer long.
On the left is Luong Son beach, on the right there are huge, magical sharp rocks.
Climb inside these rocks to find Pig Cave. Standing from here, visitors can look out at Nha Phu lagoon with many fishing boats and hear the sound of the wind blowing through the rocks.
4. Climb Co Tien Mountain to see Nha Trang at night
Co Tien Mountain (Vinh Hoa Ward, Nha Trang City) is a cluster of 3 adjacent mountains with an average height of about 300 - 400m, resembling the figure of a woman with her hair down and her face raised to the sky.
To conquer the 3 peaks, visitors will need 3-4 hours of travel. Therefore, prepare enough water and snacks for a smooth and safe climb.
In particular, each time frame of the mountain has its own beauty. In the early morning you will watch the sunrise rising from the sea or the clouds gliding gently under the city.
In the afternoon you will watch the sunset, after it turns dark from the mountain you will see a brightly lit Nha Trang.
5. Camp at Am Chua lake
About 14km west of Nha Trang City, Am Chua Lake (Dien Dien commune, Dien Khanh district) is located halfway up Dai An mountain with an altitude of about 80m.
The lake has many large, green lawns that are very suitable for camping by the lake and relaxing with friends and family. In particular, the lake water has a very beautiful jade green color.
In addition, here is also very close to the place where Holy Mother Thien Y A Na is worshiped - the goddess in Cham and Vietnamese beliefs.
The entrance to Am Chua Lake is surrounded by thousands of rice fields. On this occasion, when you come here you can also see people bustling about harvesting agricultural products.
