Overview Introduction

The Jesus Statue is the first stop on our energetic tour of Vung Tau. Situated in southern Vietnam on a peninsula lies the little port city of Vung Tau. In Vietnam, Buddhism is the most common religion, although Christianity is also rather popular. Standing 550 feet tall atop the Nho Mount is the magnificent 100-foot-tall figure of Jesus with his arms elegantly extended.
